Former CFO of JW Aluminum Andrew Burrett sits down with GLG to discuss metal and aluminum production and supplies. Burrett shares the reality of the current supply and how it might be affected by the global economy.

Andrew Burrett was most recently Chief Financial Officer at JW Aluminum where he has worked from November 2013 to September 2014. JW Aluminum manufactures specialty flat-rolled aluminum foil and sheet products. Prior to that, Mr. Burrett was VP, Global FInance, Strategy & Marketing at Meadwestvaco Corporation where he worked from July 2009 to October 2013. MeadWestvaco is a producer of packaging, specialty papers, consumer and office products and specialty chemicals. The company has 153 operating and office locations in 30 countries, and serves customers in over 100 countries. The company’s paperboard, package and paper brands include Carrier Kote, Custom Kote, Printkote, Tango, Digipak, Amaray, Dosepak and Vision. Mr. Burrett was Chief Financial Officer at Electrolux Major Appliances – N.A. from 2002 to 2009. He is a senior global finance, strategy and marketing executive with over two decades experience in manufacturing and consumer businesses. He has strong knowledge of global consumer packaging markets especially in the home care and beauty and personal care markets in both developed and developing markets around the world.
