We are currently looking for an Associate to join our Accounting team. We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual with excellent accounting knowledge as well as strong analytical and communication skills. This role will report to the Manager, Accounting and will focus primarily on facilitating the India Accounting, Tax & related reporting work. This individual should be confident in their ability to work independently as well as in a group setting within a multi-office environment. The Associate, Accounting, will also on need basis support the Global Accounting & Tax team by contributing to the accurate and timely reporting of financial results to our internal and external stakeholders. Specific job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Create and post journal entries for fixed assets, intercompany transactions, tax, monthly accruals & reversal and other transactions to ensure accurate monthly financial reporting.
  • Preparation of financial statement as per I-GAAP.
  • Prepare reports, workings, schedule and analysis on need basis for various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage India tax compliances related to GST & income tax including filing of returns, preparing relevant reconciliations, drafting replies to tax notices.
  • Support the global tax team in managing global tax compliances.
  • Support the annual external audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.

 

An ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce.
  • CA Intermediate/ Final Dropout with Articleship experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Accounting & Tax role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax returns preparation and filings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains or Avid or Workday ERP experience is an added advantage.
  • Prior experience of working in a multi-location entity with multiple stakeholders is also an added advantage.
