Pamela Thomas-Graham discusses her diverse career and roles at Credit Suisse, CNBC, and McKinsey & Co., where she was the first African-American woman to be named partner. About Pamela Thomas-Graham
Pamela Thomas-Graham most recently served as Chief Marketing and Talent Officer at Credit Suisse in addition to being an executive board member at the company. Prior to this, Thomas-Graham was the first African-American female partner at global consultancy McKinsey & Co. She also previously served as the CEO of CNBC Television and CNBC.com as well as Group President at Liz Claiborne, Inc. Thomas-Graham has been on the board of directors of Clorox for more than 10 years and is currently the lead independent director there. In addition, Thomas-Graham sits on the boards of the New York Philharmonic, the Parsons School of Design, and is a member of the State Department’s Advisory Committee on International Economic Policy. She is the founder and CEO of Dandelion Chandelier, a website dedicated to modern luxury. Thomas-Graham graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard, earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. She also served as an editor of the Harvard Law Review.
