Ben Thompson is a retired senior executive in the food supply industry with specific expertise in the poultry production space. Until recently, Thompson served as President of Aviagen, one of the world’s leading poultry breeding companies, where he was responsible for all North American operations. Previously, he was Sales Manager of the Poultry Business Unit and Director of Marketing for Animal Health at Bayer. Before working at Bayer, Thompson was Director of Operations at Perdue Farms, where he managed half of the company’s production, processing operations, and overall performance.
